THE CONTRACT WILL BE ESTABLISHED WITH ENERGY LABORATORIES, INC. (LAB), FOR WATER ANALYSIS SERVICES AT ITS LABORATORIES LOCATED IN REGION 8 (THROUGHOUT WYOMING, MONTANA AND SOUTH DAKOTA). THE PWSS PROGRAM WILL ARRANGE WITH THE LAB TO PROVIDE THE MOST COMMONLY USED SAMPLING BOTTLES TO ITS PARTNERS AHEAD OF ANY SAMPLING EVENT. THE PWSS PROGRAM WILL COLLECT SAMPLES OR PROVIDE APPROVAL FOR ITS PARTNERS TO COLLECT SAMPLES FROM THE PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM. SAMPLES WILL BE SHIP OR HAND-DELIVERED TO THE LAB FOR ANALYSIS. THE LAB WILL PROVIDE THE EPA AND/OR ITS PARTNERS WITH SHIPPING INFORMATION (VIA PRE-PAID POSTAGE ENVELOPE OR FED EX ACCOUNT INFORMATION, METHOD TO BE DETERMINED) TO BE USED WHEN SHIPPING IS REQUIRED. THE PWSS PROGRAM WILL APPROVE THE SHIPPING CHARGE IN ADVANCE AND THE LAB WILL CHARGE EPA FOR SHIPPING ON THE INVOICE. THE PWSS PROGRAM WILL APPROVE THE SHIPPING CHARGES DEPENDING ON THE COST AND AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. OCCASIONALLY, LAB SERVICES MAY BE NEEDED ON FRIDAYS (TO BE ANALYZED ON SATURDAY WHEN THE LAB IS CLOSED) OR OVER A HOLIDAY. THE PWSS PROGRAM WILL APPROVE EXTRA CHARGES, ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS, FOR FRIDAY OR HOLIDAY LAB SERVICES. ONCE THE LAB RECEIVES THE SAMPLE; IT WILL BE ANALYZED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED LABORATORY PROCEDURES FOR EACH ANALYTE. ANALYTICAL RESULTS SHALL BE PROVIDED IMMEDIATELY FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS VIA PHONE CALL OR EMAIL TO THE PWSS CONTACT WHO APPROVED THE SERVICES.
