This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-32SC-17-875760 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. This solicitation will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing), with a small business size standard of 500 employees.This acquisition is for the following item as identified in the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN):0001) Near Infrared System SpectrometerSpecifications: Near Infrared Red (NIR) Spectrometer with the following specs:1. Wavelength range: 350-2500 nm2. Spectral resolution = 3nm @ 700 nm and 10 nm @ 1400/2100 nm3. Scanning time = 100 milliseconds4. Signal to noise ratio = 9,000 : 1 @ 700nm5. Photometric noise = < 48 AU @ 700nm6. Size = Lab bench space7. Samples read plate holder = to scan bulk of sorghum seeds and single beans kernel8. Software and computer = must be included and installed at PC9. Input power = AC/DC power supplyShipping must be calculated to the below address and the delivery must state door to door to the following address:Tropical Agricultural Research Station2200 Pedro Albizu Campos Avenue, Suite 201Mayaguez, PR 00680Additionally, delivery costs to the above location must be annotated in proposal.The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. Delivery will be within 60 days of award, quoted price should include delivery costs and units. Each offer must show a breakdown giving price of the new tractor, provide descriptive literature or information showing that the offered tractor meets all specifications.Vendors responding to this announcement shall submit their quote in accordance with FAR 52.212-1.
