The U.S. Coast Guard awarded a Total Small Business purchase order to Govglobal Consulting LLC for $119,950 on September 28, 2026, for scaffold and containment services on the Eagle Mizzen Mast at Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore. Work is performed at Curtis Bay Industrial Area, Baltimore, Maryland. The contractor must provide complete Safway-type scaffolding meeting OSHA Shipyard standards (29 CFR 1915 Subpart E) with a safety factor of no less than four, and 100 percent fireproof shrink wrap containment around the vessel including sides to the ship lift floor, fireproof membrane bottom, and sloped roof. A Professional Engineer-stamped drawing must certify the containment withstands 60 MPH wind gusts and six inches of wet snow. Scaffolding must be erected under competent supervision. Work commences September 28, 2026 and must be completed within seven calendar days; removal begins January 5, 2027 unless extended weekly.
