Award Notice 3/3 9/16/26, 6:51 PM 140R4026Q0034 - STEREOLITHOGRAPHY 3D PRINTER
The Bureau of Reclamation seeks purchase, delivery, installation, and training for a Stereolithography 3D printer system with peripherals and accessories, with quotes due August 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time. This is a total small business set-aside (NAICS 334118, 1,000-employee size standard), solicited as Brand-Name or Equal with an SBA class waiver to the non-manufacturer rule.
Place of performance is the Bureau's Hydraulics Laboratory in Denver, Colorado. The requirement calls for a 3D Systems SLA825 Dual Laser Stereolithography Printer or equal, featuring dual ultraviolet lasers with combined optical power of at least 8 watts, feature sizes of 0.2 mm or smaller, dimensional tolerance of 0.15% or better, and a fully enclosed build area of at least 800 mm × 800 mm × 500 mm. The system includes 15 line items: the main printer, heated resin vat (minimum 600-liter capacity), build platform transfer cart, initial and additional clear resin, solvent wash tank, UV cure system, preparation software with texture and QuickCast add-ons, onsite installation and calibration over approximately 5 days, onsite training for approximately 5 students over 5 days, and one-year manufacturer preventative maintenance with semi-annual service for printer and UV system. Delivery is required within 120 days of award, FOB Destination. Offerors must submit technical capability documentation, current OEM authorization letters, minimum two examples of relevant past performance completed within the last five years, and acknowledgment of the 120-day delivery timeline. Award is based on equally weighted evaluation factors: Technical Capability, Manufacturer Authorization, Past Performance, Delivery, and Price. Amendment 0001 (effective August 26, 2026) extended the submission deadline to September 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM Mountain Daylight Standard Time. Quotes must be submitted electronically to Aaron Valdez at aaron_valdez@ios.doi.gov. The contract incorporates FAR clauses including Buy American-Supplies, small business limitations on subcontracting (50% for services), and electronic invoicing through the Invoice Processing Platform.

Solicitation 2/3 8/20/26, 7:04 PM 35433 - Large Format SLA 3D Printer
DISCLAIMER:This Sources Sought is issued solely for market research and informationgathering purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This notice does not constitute a solicitation, request for quote, request for proposal, or a commitment by the Government to issue a future solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with responding to this notice. Information received will be used to determine whether any additional sources exist that can meet all of the Governments minimum requirements for this procurement.DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTThe Bureau of Reclamation, Technical Service Center (TSC), is conducting market research to identify any responsible sourcesmanufacturer or authorized distributorcapable of providing a largeformat, commercialgrade stereolithography (SLA) 3D printer that meets all of the Governments minimum essential technical requirements listed below. This effort is to determine whether alternatives exist to the 3D Systems SLA825 DualLaser SLA Printer, which preliminary market research indicates may be the only product capable of meeting the Governments needs. The required system must support the Hydraulics Laboratorys production of large, highprecision components for physical hydraulic modeling. These components must be manufactured rapidly, consistently, and at dimensions and tolerances that directly affect engineering analysis, project schedules, and operational performance.MINIMUM REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONSThe Government seeks information from firms capable of providing an SLA printer that meets ALL of the following characteristics:1. ExtraLarge Build Volume- Minimum build area of approximately 32.7 32.7 21.6 (or equivalent) enabling the fabrication of large hydraulic model components in a single print. This capability is essential to eliminate multipiece segmentation, part reassembly, and the associated risks of dimensional inaccuracy, leaks, warping, or structural weakness.2. DualLaser SLA Print Architecture- System must employ at least two independent lasers to achieve hightoughput print speeds suitable for largeformat parts. This feature is required to reduce long print durations that impede engineering test cycles and delay project schedules.3. CommercialGrade Dimensional Accuracy and Reliability- Printer must consistently produce highprecision SLA components appropriate for physical hydraulic model testing where tolerances directly affect flow dynamics and experimental validity.4. HeavyDuty, HighUtilization Laboratory Operation- System must be suitable for weekly or nearcontinuous use in a productionoriented environment.5. Integrated Support Ecosystem- Availability of compatible resins, wash/cure systems, maintenance services, and OEM technical support.REQUEST FOR CAPABILITY STATEMENTInterested firmsmanufacturers or authorized distributorswho believe they can meet all of these minimum specifications are invited to submit a capability statement describing: Company name, UEI, business size, and point of contact. Manufacturer authorization (if applicable). Detailed specifications for the proposed product showing how every minimum requirement above is met. Product literature, technical sheets, or data supporting compliance. Past performance providing similar largeformat SLA systems, if available. Estimated delivery lead times.Responses that only partially meet the minimum requirements will not be considered capable of fulfilling the Governments need.PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICEThe purpose of this Sources Sought is to determine whether any authorized sources or alternative products exist that can meet the Governments complete requirements. If no additional capable sources are identified, the Government may proceed with a brandname procurement based on documented market research demonstrating that only one source can satisfy missionessential needs. Please send all questions and inquiries to: Aaron Valdez, aaron_valdez@ios.doi.gov 140R4026Q0034 Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation
