The National Park Service Alaska Region awarded a purchase order to Suncore Distribution LLC, a minority-owned small business, for $70,915 on September 21, 2026, to supply a 700–800 gallon portable aviation fuel tank system on a DOT-rated pull-behind trailer for the Bering Land Bridge National Preserve in Nome, Alaska.
The order carries a total small business set-aside designation. Place of performance is Anchorage, Alaska, with delivery required by May 31, 2027. The tank system includes a UN31A/Y certified, UL 142 listed stainless steel inner tank with 110% containment, stainless steel piping and fittings, electric brakes with breakaway system, DOT lighting, and a complete aviation fuel dispensing package comprising a 12V 25 GPM pump, deep cycle battery, automatic charger, mechanical totalizing meter, 50-foot aviation-certified hose with spring rewind reel, aviation overwing nozzle, and two BC-certified fire extinguishers.
