The U.S. Forest Service awarded a $27,700 purchase order to Cmip LLC on September 28, 2026 for electrical service, distribution infrastructure, and security lighting installation at the Supervisor's Office on the Chippewa National Forest. The award is a Total Small Business set-aside. Performance occurs in Cass Lake, Minnesota. The scope includes furnishing and installing approximately 325 feet of underground electrical feeder cable, a commercial-grade electrical service panel with minimum 50-amp capacity, two exterior photocell commercial-grade security lights (150W LED, 2500 lumens minimum, 10-foot height minimum) at each building end, two interior outlet circuits with three outlets each, and eight high-bay LED interior lights. All work must comply with Minnesota electrical code and the National Electrical Code, performed by State of Minnesota-licensed electricians using UL-listed materials and hot-dip galvanized steel hardware for outdoor applications. The contractor must submit product information for approval within 30 calendar days of Notice to Proceed and pay all state electrical inspection fees. Ultimate completion is June 1, 2027.
