Integrated Referral Management Appointing Center (IRMAC).
Added: Jun 06, 2011 8:34 am The Northern Region Medical Command (NRMC) Contracting Office is hereby undertaking this exploration of interest from industry in the provision of the management and operations of Medical Appointing services for the National Capital Region (NCR) that shall be organized to create an Integrated Referral Management Appointing Center (IRMAC). This center shall be eventually be fully consolidated into and at a single dedicated Call Appointment Center facility (provided as a Government Furnished Facility (GFF)) at Rosslyn Plaza North, 1777 North Kent Street Arlington, VA 22209. This facility is presently under development. In the interim, GFFs shall also be staffed and operated by the Contractor at the Walter Reed National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) (Building, TBD), Bethesda, MD; and at Fort Belvoir VA. The Contractor's IRMAC operations will be the central receiving, registering, referral, and appointment scheduling activity for all DOD (and DOD referred) Medical Treatment Facilities in the NCR. These facilities combined receive approximately 600,000 patient visits per year, and the Contractor may expect a similar annual IRMAC call & appointment volume. NRCO'S objective in this Pre-solicitation Notice is to broadly advertise its interest in this endeavor and to widely disseminate the scope and technical details of its intended plans, prior to the issuance of a formal Solicitation. NRCO wishes to ensure that industry interest is informed; and, hopes it will respond promptly with questions in early days; which, may arise from review of the intended plans. To this end, with this Pre Solicitation Notice interested parties may obtain a DRAFT COPY OF THE PROPOSED PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PSW) with TECHNICAL EXHIBITS by requesting such tough email to: robert.c.shepherd@us.army.mil . Copies by return email are available concurrent with the issuance of this Pre-Solicitation notice. Interested Parties are reminded that the PWS is a draft and the definitive PWS of the requirement will be found in the Solicitation alone. Interested Parties are encouraged to request the PWS, to review it, and feel free to submit questions for clarification.
