The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District New England has awarded a $145,225.35 firm fixed price delivery order to Inspire Environmental LLC, a foreign-owned for-profit organization, to provide dredged material testing support services for the Stony Creek Federal Navigation Project in Branford, Connecticut. This contract does not have a set-aside designation and is intended to support the Corps' dredging, navigation, and sediment management work in the region. Inspire Environmental is an experienced provider of environmental consulting services, including specialized testing and monitoring of dredged sediments, to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The company holds an existing indefinite delivery contract with the Corps' New York District to provide monitoring services for the Hazardous, Ammunition and Radioactive Waste (HARS) program, which may be leveraged for this new award.
