The services contemplated have been determined to be commercial. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 621111 and the small business size standard is $10 million. A maximum of five multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. Each contract will have a five-year ordering period from 1 Oct 2012 tu 30 Sep 2017. This requirement has been Set-Aside 100% for Small Businesses. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be electronically posted on Fed Biz Ops (http://www.fbo.gov), on or about 15 Sep 2011. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. Added: Jun 23, 2011 3:19 pm The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) is soliciting comments and suggestions from industry on Army Direct Care Medical Services (ADCMS), Physician Services, Southern Regional Medical Command Draft Request for Proposal (RFP). The purpose of this notice is to gather comments and suggestions from industry, prior to release of the formal solicitation, to improve the content, clarity, correctness, and completeness of the draft RFP. It is designed to reduce proposal preparation and evaluation time and promote a clearer understanding to industry of the requirements with a goal of a more effective and less costly contract. The Government will consider/evaluate all questions and comments received from potential offerors in the preparation of the Final RFP.This is a special notice only. This is not a solicitation announcement. This draft RFP neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict CHCC to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement, and any requests for solicitation will not receive a response. The Government does not intent to respond to the questions and comments, only consider/evaluate and incorporate into the solicitation if deemed appropriate and in its best interest.
