About this award

This is a delivery order awarded by the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation to Redstone Defense Systems, a self-certified small disadvantaged business and Alaskan Native Corporation-owned firm. The $904,421.69 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract involves modifying the infrared search light system on the H-60M helicopter, including the pilot and co-pilot collective sticks, to allow the light intensity to be adjusted in 10% increments. This Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and Modification Work Order (MWO) update is for both the UH-60M and HH-60M variants. The contract does not have a set-aside designation and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2019.

Description

New order. Modification of H-60M aircraft infrared search light system intensity decreased/increased function on the pilot and CO-pilot collective stick for the UH-60M and HH-60M, herein referred to as the H-60M, IR searchlight to be dimmed to a desired level of luminescence in 10% increments. The IR search light systems includes all hardware from the pilot and copilot collective switch, all associated wiring. These efforts will result in an engineering change proposal (ECP) and a modification work order (MWO) for both the HH/UH-60M aircraft.
