This is a Combined Synopsis-Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format set forth at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested. 1. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure Snow and Ice Removal Services in support of the 99th Readiness Division. Services shall be performed at the 1LT Jimmie L. Monteith United States Army Reserve Center, 1741 E. Belt Blvd., Richmond, VA 23224. 2. The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price Requirements contract. The period of performance for this effort shall be a 12-month base period and four, 12-month option periods from date of award. Estimated total quantities are provided in the Request for Proposal. These estimates are not a representation to an offeror or contract that the estimated quantities will be required or ordered, or that conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or request for quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: (1) The availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition (561730) with a small business size standard of $7.5M. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for Snow and Ice Removal Services in Richmond, VA in support of the 99th Regional Support Command. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price purchase order as a result of the solicitation to be issued. The period of performance is a twelve month base period and four, twelve month option periods. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary to provide grounds maintenance services. Attached is a DRAFT Performance Work Statement for planning purposes only and Site Map of the place of performance. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers.
