Added: Jan 20, 2016 3:00 pm On Site In- Patient Hemodialysis Services Asheville VA Medical Center The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, North Carolina intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of On-Site In-Patient Hemodialysis Services for Veteran and their Beneficiaries at the Charles George Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center (VAMC), Asheville, NC. Services are required from a Contractor to provide continuous seven (7) days per week, twenty-four (24) hours per day on-call coverage for hemodialysis services at the bedside of acutely ill patients at the Charles George VAMC, Asheville, NC. The Contractor shall provide properly trained and qualified registered nurses (RNs) licensed in the state of North Carolina to perform hemodialysis services. It is imperative that services are obtained from a Contractor who, upon receipt of notification of required services, provides a response time to the Charles George VAMC Asheville, NC, within two (2) hours of emergent services, within four (4) hours for immediate services, and within twelve (12) hours for conic, routine hemodialysis treatments. The Contractor will provide validation of current hemodialysis competencies and each RN shall have current RN licensure and current Basic Life Support (BLS) training/certification. All RN Contractor staff will comply with the credentialing requirements of the Veterans Health Administration to include application of credentials in VETPRO tough the Nursing Service designee. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 621492 with a size standard of $38.5 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted. A Firm Fixed price type contract with a 6 month base period of performance with the possibility of four (4) one (1) year option periods which will be exercised at the Government's discretion are anticipated under this solicitation. A formal Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to conduct market research in an effort to obtain knowledge of potential qualified offerors interested and capable of providing On-Site Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nursing Services, with the ability to meet the requirements of a resulting solicitation. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code 621492 with a size standard of $38 Million. The Charles George, VA. Medical Center located in Asheville NC. Is seeking potential sources among health care service providers capable of providing On-Site Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nursing Services for its' eligible beneficiaries. It has been determined that any Potential Sources shall provide properly trained and qualified registered nurses appropriately licensed in the state of North Carolina. Potential offerors who are interested and capable of providing the above services must demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the required services and their capabilities to provide such services. Potential Offerors shall be required to meet the following: The acceptable response time is contingent upon the urgency of the need as determined by the ordering physician: a) within two (2) hours of Emergent services; b) within four (4) hours for Immediate services; and c) within twelve (12) hours for conic, routine hemodialysis treatments. Also, interested offerors shall demonstrate their experience, knowledge and capability to provide qualified On-Site Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nursing Services with nurses appropriately licensed in the State of North Carolina. Potential Offerors interested and capable of providing On-Site Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nursing Services with Licensed Registered Nurses to provide On-Site Inpatient Dialysis Nursing Services, shall provide the following on company letterhead ; Complete Business Name as registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM), Point of Contact, Business Size, Social Economic Status; Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Small Business, etc.), Capability Statement containing information about recent relevant project/s similar in size and nature, DUNS Number and Address, by 3:00 o'clock pm EST 10/27/2015.
