Description

Pharmacy reengineering (pre) pharmacy product systems (PPS) - the contractor shall provide development, testing, release and documentation support for completion of the pharmacy product system (PPS)/enterprise product list (EPL) process which started with the release of PPS-national (PPS-n) version 1.0. The PPS/EPL currently pushes data to the national drug file management system (ndfms) and updates for sites are released using the current vista patch process. The primary scope of this effort is the elimination of the ndfms system and vista patch process with sites being updated in near real-time. The scope also includes the ability to add investigational, compound, and partial drugs to the PPS/EPL as well as additional fields to facilitate improved remote order and hazardous waste checks.
