Description

Mitre task order against IRS contract tirno-99-00005, to assist SSA in carrying out its responsibilities as set forth in 164 cong. REC. H2707 (MAR. 22, 2018) (explanatory statement of REP. Frelinghuysen), which states as follows: disability case processing system (dcps). --the agreement supports efforts to modernize the case processing systems used by state disability determination service agencies, including the dcps. The SSA is directed to take the necessary actions that would permit states the ability to select from all available options in the modernization of their case processing systems, so long as the selected option has similar or better functionality as dcps without imposing costs that are higher than using dcps. Such process must be in conformance with all federal procurement rules and information technology security requirements.
