Description
Osep durham team requests additional guard services hours at the SSA's second support center and RTP building complexes for additional security requirements that must be performed due to the unintended parking lot and security impacts that will be caused by the 25,000-30,000 runners and additional supporting personnel of the annual susan G. Komen "race for the cure," which will start on 6/11/2016 near the front of the SSA RTP building complex. The event is an all day event with multiple race start times, and other commercial and social events throughout the day. The additional security hours will be performed 10-11 june 2016 as there may be preparatory security activities required on 6/10/2016. The RTP building is a facility security level 3 (FSL3) leased building with 24/7/365 operations. The SSA RTP building lessor is an organizer of the event and will be offering up parking and other non-SSA leased property areas to the race and related events, which will create additional security requirements that cannot be performed by current contract staffing. Ten additional supervisory service hours and ten additional productive hours are requested under contract SS00-14-61021 (CLIN1002 at $43.57 per supervisory hour X 10 hours = $435.70 plus CLIN1003 at $41.69 per productive hour X 10 hours = $416.90) for a total cost of $852.60.
