A solicitation will be issued for: NSN 1560-00-611-9376, Push Rod Assembly, IQC 1000092694. Government First Article Testing (FAT) is required. The required delivery is 120 days ARO for FAT samples and 315 days after FAT approval for production units. Government Production Lot Testing is required. Configuration Control Item. Other than full and open competition, potential sources: Lockheed Martin Corporation, CAGE 98897 and International Precision, Inc., CAGE 3H683. FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance Origin. This is a request for proposal for an Indefinite Quantity Contract. Estimated Annual Quantities for a base period of five years with zero (0) options will be 32 each. Surge requirements do not apply. The solicitation includes Note L09, Reverse Auction. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation-Richmond is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of manufacturing (or legitimately obtain) the item indicated. The Government is seeking parties having an interest in and the resources to support NSN 1560-00-611-9376, Push Rod Assembly, F. This item is currently manufactured by: Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE 98897) and International Precision, Inc. (CAGE 3H683) under part number 373505-1. Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are not available. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s). Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, potential sources may be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. The estimated annual quantity is 32 each. The unit prices will be established at the time of a contract award. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
