About this award
NASA's Langley Research Center issued a delivery order to Amentum Technology, Inc. on February 1, 2014, with a ceiling value of $283.872 million, under the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering (CMOE) contract, a single-award indefinite delivery vehicle supporting institutional and research facility maintenance, operations, and engineering at Langley. This order is structured for funding and accounting purposes within the agency's financial systems to support CLIN 1 (Maintenance) of the parent contract NNL13AA14C.
The CMOE contract provides core support services in research facilities operations (highly specialized wind tunnels, laboratories, test stands, instrumentation calibration and repair), central utilities operations (steam, compressed air, electrical power distribution, potable water), technology development and administration (facility automation systems, data acquisition systems), research and institutional facility maintenance (preventive maintenance, trouble calls, reliability-centered maintenance, facility condition assessment), and facility engineering (design, construction, configuration management, tactical engineering, pressure system recertification, project management and planning support). Place of performance is Hampton, Virginia.
Work is priced under Cost Plus Award Fee terms. Service Contract Inventory data shows Amentum Technology invoiced $21.2 million in FY2025 across 141 FTEs and 293,048 contractor hours at a blended rate of $72.27 per hour. Subcontractors performed approximately 9 percent of total contractor hours in FY2025. Year-over-year invoicing and FTE levels have remained relatively stable from FY2022 through FY2025, ranging from $21.2 million to $27 million annually and 141 to 155 FTEs. The derived government-paid hourly rate has declined from $88.48 per hour in FY2022 to $72.27 per hour in FY2025.
