Description
"other functions" the objective of this task is to validate the efficacy of the icls for use in the wind tunnel facilities. The principles and methods of statistical engineering, specifically design of experiments (DOE) and response surface methods (RSM) will be employed to provide a test matrix for in-situ validation of wind tunnel balance performance using the icls. Minor hardware modifications will be employed to expand the range of the applied loads. DAS software and hardware will be written and assembled to support the use of the icls in the national transonic facility (NTF). In the following narrative, each of the subparagraphs of section three of the rftp is addressed individually.
