Added: Feb 16, 2017 1:02 pm Intend to award sole source based on FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source.The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to procure and award, on an other than full and open competition basis, a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Delivery Order contract with Archer Technologies International, Incorporated in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This acquisition includes the following items: UWAT Full Assemblies, Super Bolt Full Assemblies, Individual Parts for those assemblies, Spares, as well as incidental services required for repairs up to the cost of the current version. These items are for joint services repair and refurbishment of Paveway II and II Guided Bomb Units (GBU) Airfoil Group and will support the following weapons systems: GBU-10, GBU-12, GBU-28, and GBU-32.The support services over the five year period will include labor categories for repairs. Archer Technologies is the only firm who can provide the required hardware, spares, and support services required. Archer Technologies is the only source capable of developing and manufacturing the required hardware for this acquisition.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. On 11/29/2018 NAWCWD awarded an FFP IDIQ contract for a total $11,896,71, using other than full and open competition, FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (See 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), to Archer Technologies International, Inc. of Shawnee, Oklahoma. This contract provides for supplies and repair services in support of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Guided Bomb Unit (GBU)-10, GBU-12, GBUU-28, and GBU-32 weapon system. Supplies and repair services to be provided include Universal Wing Actuator Tools (UWAT) full assemblies; super bolts (with spherical tip) full assembly, individual parts for the UWAT full assembly, individual parts for the Super Bolt full assembly, individual parts for the PaveWay Systems Parts, and repair services in support of U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy PaveWay II and PaveWay III GBU Airfoil Group Maintenance & Repair lines..
