Added: Sep 22, 2011 1:27 pm NON-SKID DECKING REMOVAL AND REAPPLICATION SERVICES Detail Desc: This is a solicitation for non-skid decking removal and reapplication services to be performed on U.S. Navy ships and other visiting Government vessels in the Mayport/Jacksonville, Florida area. This is a total small business set-aside. Only businesses designated as “small” under NAICS code 336611 – Ship Building and Repair, will be eligible for award. The successful contractor will be required to provide the necessary management, administrative support, labor, equipment and materials to accomplish the requirement in accordance with the incorporated statement of work and Government specifications and regulations. The successful contractor must be SSPC QP-1 certified. Non-skid replacement shall be accomplished meeting the standards of SSPC SP-10 or SSPC SP-12. Non-skid application will be either MIL-PRF-24667 roll-on non-skid or 3M Safety-Walk 710 peel and stick sections.

SOUTHEAST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER NON-SKID DECKING
Added: Mar 07, 2011 4:46 pm This notice is to announce that the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) San Diego intends to issue a solicitation for non-skid decking removal and reapplication services to be performed on U.S. Navy ships and other visiting Government vessels in the Mayport/Jacksonville, Florida area. This procurement will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. Only businesses designated as “small” under NAICS code 336611 – Ship Building and Repair, will be eligible for award. The successful contractor will be required to provide the necessary management, administrative support, labor, equipment and materials to accomplish the requirement in accordance with the incorporated statement of work and all applicable Government specifications and regulations. The successful contractor must be SSPC QP-1 certified and maintain certification throughout the contract. Non-skid replacement shall be accomplished meeting the standards of SSPC SP-10 or SSPC SP-12. Non-skid application will be either MIL-PRF-24667 roll-on non-skid or 3M Safety-Walk 710 peel and stick sections. Inspection and acceptance will be done at destination by the cognizant Government representative. The successful offeror will be required to have a NAVSEA Quality System (IAW NAVSEA Standard Item 009-004) approved and in place at time of contract award. The Government intends to award a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year period and four one-year option periods. The delivery orders will be firm-fixed price. Small business contractors that are interested in this procurement may send an e-mail providing point of contact information to Tony I.
