Added: Feb 25, 2014 5:14 pm Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA), PO Box 215, Portsmouth, VA, 23705-0215, is seeking to identify potential sources to accomplish a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for barge habitability for a base year with four one-year options. Award will be based on best value procurement utilizing technical, past performance, and price as evaluation factors. This procurement is not restricted to MSRA/ABR contractors. All interested parties need to express written interest as requested below.This is a follow-on procurement. The current contract numbers are N50054-10-D-1001/1002/1003/1004.The contractor shall furnish the necessary non-personal management, administrative and production services, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and required support to accomplish a full range of depot level troubleshooting, repair, renewal, refurbishment, modernization, maintenance, and testing of U.S. Navy Living Barges and their auxiliary systems (hull, mechanical, and electrical) including the potential of periodic docking.NAICS code 336611 applies with a size standard of 1,000 employees.Potential sources are notified that the Limitations on Subcontracting clause (FAR 52.219-14) will be included in any RFP set aside for small business concerns.Sources are requested to identify any ongoing Government contract vehicles they may have for the same or similar work.
