About this award

This is a $13,958,893.27 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order contract awarded by the Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command to General Electric Company's GE Aviation division, doing business as GE Edison Works, for the Compensating Interim Program (CIP) for F414 engines as part of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreement with Australia's Commonwealth (COM). The contract provides for the overhaul and modification of engine modules, gearboxes, pumps, seals, and other components for the Coast Guard's MH-60T helicopters. The original solicitation sought providers with traceability to GE as the original equipment manufacturer. This contract is not a small business set-aside. GE has a strong track record of providing aviation parts, components, systems, and services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies as both a prime and subcontractor.
