Added: March 7, 2008 This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane has a requirement for an anticipated 5 year IDIQ contract for Crew Served Multipurpose Thermal Weapon Sights. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis using a Statement of Work and a Performance Specification. Two product samples will be required to be submitted with the proposal. Anticipated CLINS are as follows: CLIN 0001 will be for MTS units for a minimum quantity of 10 each, maximum quantity of 3000 each. CLIN 0002 is for Associated Data, CLIN 0003 is for External Monitor, CLIN 0004 is for Remote Display, and CLIN 0005 is for PIO-Spare Parts. FOB Destination, Inspection at source, UID labeling required. Delivery lead time is 75 each within 120 days of effective date of order, to continue at a rate of 75 every 30 days thereafter until complete. Accelerated deliveries are desirable. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane website at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. N! o hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offerors will be required to submit product samples, technical, past performance, and price proposals. Award will be made on a best value basis. The solicitation along with a Performance Specification, Statement of Work, and CDRLs are expected to be posted on or about March 24, 2008. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
