PMA-201 Harpoon Missile Tactical Employment Training Manual for Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
Added: Sep 27, 2016 6:16 am The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201) has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order to Delex Systems, Incorporated, against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-14-G-0018. The contract is for a period of 27 months. This order is for developing a Harpoon Missile Tactical Employment Manual for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This delivery order was pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. Delex Systems, Inc. is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the Harpoon Tactical Training Program and has past history in designing, developing, and modifying a variety of Harpoon training systems, including the Harpoon Embedded Trainer, Harpoon Employment Training Aid, and Submarine Embedded Trainer. Delex developed Harpoon Block II Missile training systems at their own expense, so the Government has restricted rights to the software. Accordingly, Delex Systems, Inc. is the only known, qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements herein. Added: Apr 27, 2016 8:02 am The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order to Delex Systems, Incorporated, against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-14-G-0018. The anticipated contract will be for 27 months. Contract award is anticipated for the third quarter of calendar year 2016. This order is for developing a Harpoon Missile Tactical Employment Manual for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This delivery order is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available.
