Description

Recovery grsm 149646 this project is to construct and or rehabilitation to make accessible comfort stations, picnic sites, and camp sites for those who are disabled. Existing campsite and picnic sites do not meet the current need for accessible facilities. Both picnic and campgrounds do not afford the disabled visitor the range of choice (streamside, wooded, sunny) available to other visitors who are not mobility impaired. When no campsites are available, some disabled campers attempt to use non-accessible sites and put them at risk of injury. Picnic areas also offer only a limited number of accessible picnic sites with some areas offering no accessible sites.
