Added: May 31, 2011 2:02 pm The Government intends to award one (1) IDIQ contract for each of the five (5) regions (See Attachment 4-Regional Map) as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, supplies, and services and otherwisse do all things necessary for, or incidental to, providing the services and items listed in the IDIQ contracts and subsequent task orders awarded as a result of this Request for Proposal. The scope of this contract is to provide the Government all necessary management, supervision, materials, services, support, warranty repair, identification, and performance of the cabling activities required for approximately 500 geographically dispersed ICE locations, sites, and facilities. The required tasks include site surveys, installation, testing, documentation, problem resolution and warranty repair of wireless, data, and voice communications cabling and related equipment. Added: Sep 20, 2010 7:50 am PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) has identified a need to provide all cabling services necessary to manage, supervise, materials, services, tools, maintenance, identification, and performance of the cabling activities required at approximately 500 geographically dispersed ICE locations toughout the United States and some OCONUS locations, sites, and facilities. This requirement is being advertised under NAICS code of 238210. ICE has established six regions as follows: Region 1 Washington DC, Region 2 North East, Region 3 Southeast, Region 4 South, Region 5 West, and Region 6 OCONUS. A map that includes the states for each region will be published as an Attachment in Section J of the solicitation. It is ICE's intent to award a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for each of the six geographic regions.ICE has a need to support prospective sites as the Agency expands. The tasks required under this requirement includes site surveys, installation, testing, documentation, problem resolution and maintenance of video, wireless, data, and voice communications cabling and related equipment.The Contractor for each geographic location shall be able to perform and support all aspects associated with cabling and design requirements. This includes designing, implementing, and testing universal cabling schematics for voice, video, wireless, and data systems in accordance and consistent with the objectives of this requirement. The Contractor shall be knowledgeable of state and local cabling regulations, fire codes, historic preservation regulations, Davis Bacon Act, Service Contract Act and union (if applicable) requirements.
