About this award

This federal contract was awarded by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to Tista Science and Technology Corporation, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The purpose of the $65,429,693.95 contract is to acquire comprehensive digital service delivery capacity to assist CMS in sustaining and improving the Transformed-Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS). The contract supports the stability and evolution of T-MSIS to collect standardized, high-quality data from states and territories, including new data sources. The contract was issued as a delivery order under CMS's Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) vehicle, which is a multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract.

Description

The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire comprehensive digital service delivery capacity to assist the centers for medicare and medicaid services (CMS) in an effort to continue sustaining and improving the transformed-medicaid statistical information system (t-msis). T-msis should remain stable as IT evolves to provide continuously improving support for the collection of data for states and territories. Stability is required for both currently participating states and territories, as well as new states that join, bringing new types of data. To the greatest extent possible, the system should easily and automatically collect and normalize disparate data resulting in standardized quality data - despite the introduction of new data sources.
