Description

CMS is looking to maintain the current physical access management (PAM) software and hardware infrastructure, continue to maintain and enhance the five modules currently in production, and develop new modules using the existing groupassure framework.CMS is seeking new development for the following areas of PAM.* badging office scheduler/sign-in modulea scheduling tool to automate PIV issuance appointments and sign-in at the badging front desk.* fleet management moduleautomate requests for government vehicles.* pacs central transfer review enhancementnotify access authorities when a person with access to their area has moved (they may not still require access to the area).* pacs central proximity badge enhancementpacs central automates requests and approvals for all credentials except proximity badges. This enhancement would allow employees to use pacs central to request proximity badges for people that are not employees, but still need physical access (specifically childcare parents).* PAM java applet replacementpam relies on a java applet to authenticate users as well as digitally sign web data with their PIV credential in web browsers. Since most major browser vendors have announced the deprecation of npapi, CMS will require a replacement for the applet that can perform the same tasks.* parking authority transhare enhancementenhance the administration section of the parking authority module to better record and track employee and contractor transhare activity. Transhare distributes money to individuals that utilize public transportation.* security assessment enhancementscreate a facility self assessment to assist facilities in meeting ISC security criteria.
