Description

The scope of this statement of work is to start the redevelopment/reengineering of the entire EPI info suite of programs following the CDC unified process framework (CDC up). This includes the preparation and maintenance of project documentation for each phase of the CDC up: inception; elaboration; creation; and transition. In the base year of this task order, IT is expected to complete one full iteration through the CDC up. The inception phase of the project in the base year will be heavily focused on establishing the processes and standards to be used in the following phases and in future development iterations. By the end of the base year IT is expected to have delivered the international localization process complete, working, and tested; the package and installation process, complete, working and tested; and prototypes of each of the major AVR (analysis, visualization, and reporting) modules of EPI info as indicated in the table below. The scope of this statement of work also includes the development of the international localization process for the redeveloped EPI info end user system, but the scope does not include actually translating from english to a non-english language. In option year 1, IT is expected that all programming and reengineering of the modules started in prototype during the base year be completed by the end of the first option year. Also in the first option year, IT is expected that the remaining modules and utilities that were not started in the base year be prototyped by mid year. All programming and reengineering of all parts of the EPI info suite of tools shall be completed and delivered by the end of the first option year. In the second option year, IT is expected to transition the delivered product into a maintenance plan and primarily engage helpdesk support for the new EPI info suite of tools.
