This is not a notice for solicitation or offers.FBI Field Office Build-Out and Fire Alarm Replacement Project at the P.V. McNamara Federal Building located in Detroit, Michigan.Project Description: The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire architecture and engineering services for the FBI Field Office Build-Out and Fire Alarm Replacement. The project will build-out approximately 220,000 USF of the PV McNamara Federal Building (McNamara) for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on floors 19 tough 26. The current FBI space is non-contiguous on multiple floors in the building: Basement, 5, 8, 9, 19, 25, 26, and 27. Several tenant agencies (Internal Revenue Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Social Security Administration) that currently occupy some of these floors will need to be relocated either within the McNamara building or to lease space. FBI space alterations will include complete upgrades to the HVAC and electrical distribution systems and modernization of the public hallways and restrooms. Other major components of work include a new Fire Alarm System, installation of a new generator, renovation of the public lobby on the ground floor; creation of a separate private entrance and conference center for the FBI on the west side of the building and dedicated access to the high rise bank of elevators for exclusive use by FBI.
