Raytheon Company, doing business as Raytheon Strategic Missile Defense Division, was awarded a $1.99 million firm fixed price delivery order for digital airport surveillance radar sustainment support. The funding agency, the Air Force Materiel Command Electronic Systems Center of the U.S. Air Force, will utilize this contract to maintain critical radar systems that support air traffic operations and safety at airports nationwide. As the prime contractor, Raytheon will leverage its expertise in radar engineering and sustainment to ensure these vital systems continue meeting performance requirements. Corporate parent Raytheon Technologies will provide additional support resources through its headquarters division. Work will be performed in Marlborough, Massachusetts through the end of October 2020.
