This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 (FAC). The solicitation number is FA8122-10-R-0037. The solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP) for repair and overhaul. The government intends to make a sole source award to Woodward Governor, (Cage Code 66503) 2001 N. 2nd Street, Loves Park, and IL 61111-5808. This solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect tough the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 (FAC). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336412. This is a requirement for a one year basic plus four one-year options; NSN: 2915-01-210-8585PV; Noun: Fuel Control, Technical Order: 00-35D-54; Manufacturer: Woodward Governor; P/N Drawing Number 8061; Application: F107 Engine: Estimated Qty: 122 ea first year; 127 ea second year; 115 ea third year; 104 ea fourth year and 104 ea fifth year. Line Item (L/I) 0001, Remanufacture, L/I 0002, Recertification, Not Separately Priced (NSP), L/I 0003, IAW DD 1423 & Appendix "B", NSP. DIMENSIONS: Unknown; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Governs fuel to the engine to provide proper tust between minimum and maximum power settings. Predominant Material or Manufacturer: Unknown; Place of delivery schedules acceptance is FB 2039, Tinker AFB, OK, 73145-9018 with FOB Origin. Required delivery schedule: 30 Days ARO or REPS whichever is later. Qualification requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual sources that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved repair and overhaul sources for this item. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified before being considered for awards. An Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the offeror meets qualification requirements at the time of award IAW FAR clause 52.209-1.
