The U.S. Air Force awarded a $493,360.00 delivery order contract to The RAND Corporation, a nonprofit global policy think tank, to provide Project AIR FORCE (PAF) services. This is an unrestricted, cost-no-fee contract that runs through October 2017. RAND is a prime contractor on several major federal Indefinite Delivery Vehicles (IDVs) across agencies including the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Labor, enabling it to respond quickly to agency needs and provide ongoing analytical services in areas of strategic importance to the federal government. Through its work on this contract, RAND will leverage its multidisciplinary research capabilities to support the Air Force in areas such as policy analysis, program evaluation, and decision-making.
