Added: Apr 06, 2017 7:06 pm Description The requirement consists essentially of, but is not limited to, the construction of asphalt and concrete pavements, curbs and sidewalks, including demolition and removal of same, and the construction of storm water drainage structures including trench drains, drainage inlets, manholes, storm sewer pipe, base-wide striping projects, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. This office anticipates awarding a Multiple Award Paving Contract-MAPC (Base Paving). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 with a size standard of $36,500,000 million dollars. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 10 May 2017 with an approximate response date of 09 June 2017. This solicitation will be 100% small business set-aside. Offers will be evaluated based on a best value, subjective trade-off between price and past performance. Past performance is significantly more important than price. All responsive offers will be considered by the agency. PLEASE NOTE: This agency highly encourages all WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB to participate in this work to be performed. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The maximum amount to be awarded for the base period and any options exercised is $28 million for the life of the contract. The 436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB, DE, is contemplating a multiple award Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract which consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of asphalt and concrete pavements, curbs and sidewalks, including demolition and removal of same, and the construction of storm water drainage structures including trench drains, drainage inlets, manholes, storm sewer pipes, base-wide striping projects, and other miscellaneous appurtenances.The base contract period magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and each option year (4-years) magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This amount includes the basic contract period and all options exercised. The Government anticipates award of up to four contracts as a result of the solicitation but reserves to right to award more, fewer, or none at all.
