Description

The objective of this task order is to develop a pavement/road condition crosswalk between existing FLH PCR and SCR and the partner agencies pavement/road evaluation rating approaches that will allow them to fully manage their transportation network and give them the tools to compete on a national level. Develop a single road condition rating approach for unpaved facilities to be used by the NPS, USFS, USFWS, USACE and BLM. Coordinate its development with the bureau of indian affairs (BIA) to ensure the tribal transportation program (TTP) is involved in the effort thereby allowing program stakeholders to potentially leverage the investment to support the TTP. Develop a single paved road rating approach that aligns with IRI and is better suited for federal lands transportation facilities. Coordinate the development of these condition ratings with FLH divisions, fhwa offices and federal partners. Analyze and assess existing data and road condition collection methodologies by stakeholders in our efforts to develop and deploy long-term solutions to support the federal lands transportation and tribal programs.
