About this award

This federal contract award modifies a task order held by Financial Markets International, Inc. (FMI), a for-profit subchapter S corporation that provides consulting services to U.S. government agencies on international development and economic growth initiatives. The modification revises the delivery schedule and reporting requirements, as well as reallocates funds between labor and other direct costs to cover education allowances and shipping/storage costs for a U.S. long-term staff member. The task order is part of a larger $31,625,121.85 USAID contract with FMI and does not have a set-aside designation. FMI has a history of securing prime contracts and subcontracts with agencies like USAID, the International Development Finance Corporation, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation, focused on technical assistance, advisory services, and performance assessments in areas such as financial sector development and SME growth. This contract modification, valued at the original task order ceiling, supports USAID's international development programs in Nicaragua.

Description

The purpose of this action is to a) revise section a.5, delivery schedule/reporting requirements in order to state the close of business date for submission of the monitoring and evaluation (M & E) plan to USAID by december 31, 2006 and to incorporate language under financial quarterly reporting that indicates the information needed by USAID for the purpose of accrual calculation; B) revise sections a.11, work days ordered, paragraph a), and a.12 ceiling price in order to RE-allocate funds from professional labor ($34,113) and travel/transportation/per diem ($2,417) to other direct costs to include allowances for the U.S. Long-term staff, MR. Marciel neto and his family without increasing the task order ceiling price. The requested allowances are: 1) education allowance for MR. Neto?S SON which is in accordance with current rates per dssr, and, 2) shipping and storage costs which are found to be reasonable based on current market value, per quotations provided. We are also incorporating the homeland security presidential directive-12 (HSPD-12), clause in this modification to the task order, per aapd 06-12.
