This order was issued under the Consultant and Advisory Services for Colombia (CASC) contract vehicle. The award did not utilize a small business set-aside.

Description

Venezuela political and economic crisis has displaced over one million venezuelans to colombia. Colombian receptor communities, especially local governments, have limited resources and capacity to provide basic services to the incoming populations, which include venezuelans and returning colombians. The influx of people leaving venezuela is contributing to increased public health concerns, particularly with regard to the spread of infectious diseases; increased xenophobia; increased involvement in illegal activities; and to general unrest in some of the most vulnerable and conflict prone areas of the country. USAID/colombia is to perform a conflict assessment of the colombia-venezuela border and its changing context due to the relationship with the influx of migrants into receiving communities.
