The Department of Agriculture Forest Service seeks insecticide treatment services to protect Eastern hemlock trees from Hemlock Woolly Adelgid infestation within the Allegheny National Forest, with quotations due July 6, 2026. Work occurs in developed recreation sites, administrative areas, and conservation areas across Elk, Forest, McKean, and Warren Counties, Pennsylvania, with administrative oversight at Marienville, PA. The contract is a single-award, pre-priced IDIQ with a $350,000 maximum cumulative value across five annual ordering periods through August 31, 2032, with a $2,500 minimum guaranteed amount. Specific treatment locations, tree diameters, quantities, and application methods will be identified in individual task orders; approved methods include soil injection, soil drench, soil tablets, basal bark sprays, and stem injections. The contractor furnishes all labor, materials, equipment, insecticide, transportation, and supervision.
