THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDERRECOVERY ACT, THIS PROCUREMENT IS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) FIRMS. The VA Maryland Health Care System is seeking services of a qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to completely prepare site for building operation and furnish the labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for Recovery Act Project "Repair Roofs" located at the VA Medical Center at Baltimore, MD 21201, (Baltimore City). The base bid will include partial roof repairs to the roof at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238160. To be considered a small business under this code, the SBA standard size must not exceed $14.0 million. The construction cost range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation package for IFB# VA-245-09-RA-0233 is estimated to be posted on Fed Biz Opps, which can be accessed at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about July 28, 2009. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Bidders will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, drawings, and subsequent amendments, if any. The solicitation will be issued pursuant to the authority of Public Law 109-461, 38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation will NOT be honored. Potential bidders MUST registers at Fed Biz Opps (www.fedbizopps.gov) in order to receive notifications and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information.
