THE PURPOSE OF THIS ACTIVITY IS TO COMMERCIALIZE THE GSFC QWIP THERMAL INFRARED AIRCRAFT INSTRUMENT, BY ENHANCING THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE CONTROLLING THE INSTRUMENT OBJECTIVES: TO PROVIDE HARDWARE ENHANCEMENTS AND SOFTWARE IMPROVEMENTS THAT PROVIDE A PROTOTYPE COMMERCIALIZATION SYSTEM THAT CAN CONTROL THE OPERATION OF MULTI-SPECTRAL, HYPER-SPECTRAL AND THERMAL INFRARED SMALL AIRCRAFT INSTRUMENTS.
