The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region, has a requirement for construction services for riprap replacement at Trenton Dam, Frenchman-Cambridge Division, Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program, Kansas. The principal components of the work to be performed include the following: 1) Loading and hauling existing riprap from an existing Government stockpile, 2) mixing stockpiled material to achieve gradation, and 3) placing riprap shore protection along the upstream face of Trenton Dam. This work will likely require the contractor to either barge the material and equipment to the site(s) needing repair or build a road on the face of the dam to the repair site(s) and return it to its original configuration upon completion. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990. The SBA Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 Million. The range of the project is $100,000 to $250,000. This procurement is issued as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE and will be awarded using an Invitation for Bid (IFB-Sealed Bid), set-forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14. Bids will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. An ELECTRONIC copy of the solicitation is anticipated to be made available approximately around March 18, 2011, at www.FBO.gov. Bids are anticipated to be due on or around April 19, 2011. These dates may be subject to change at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. An organized site visit will be offered and the date, time, and location will be included in the Foreword page of the solicitation. Prospective contractors shall have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award of any Federal Government contract.
