Added: Aug 14, 2012 7:15 pm ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED. IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and materials required for the installation and commissioning of a new 7,000 gallon processed water tank. The contractor will place 2 new concrete mounting pads, mount new tank according to manufacturer's instructions, insulate tank connect equipment, plumbing and conduit and test all sensors and alarms. The contractor shall also provide a separate estimate for installing and commissioning an additional identical, 7,000 gallon processed water tank in the same location with the same work requirements as part of Bid Option 1. The work is located in Liquid Oily Waste Separation Facility, N56 on the USCG Base, Kodiak, Alaska. Contractor must be IAW SOW. Contractor will be selected based on the lowest price technically accepted. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: The government will supply 7,000 gallon tanks, crane services for tank placement, catwalk, stairs and valves as specified in the SOW Government Furnished Materials and Equipment Section. The contractor shall inventory all materials and assure that all government furnished materials are accounted; anything not available in the government furnished materials and equipment shall be supplied by the contractor. The contractor shall notify the government of any missing, damaged, or inadequate supplies prior to beginning work at the facility.Performance Period: 14-30 days. Work to be performed within 45 days of notice to proceed.SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: Prior to ordering or procuring materials, and a minimum of twenty-one (21) days before start of work, submit tee (3) copies of the required information to the Contracting Officer for approval. Include manufacture's catalog data, certificates, and other evidence indication compliance with the specifications Per Submittals Requirements of SOW. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: applicable federal, state, and local construction and environmental regulations, requirements, best management practices, and standard operation procedures.ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY August 22, 2012.A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD September 5, 2012, APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE QUOTE IS DUE.
