Added: May 03, 2011 6:32 pm The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) intends to award a sole source contract to SIGA to furnish the following: ST-246 for the treatment of Small Pox. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 325412. This award is being negotiated under the authority set forth in FAR 6.302-3, Industrial Mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services using the procedures under FAR Part 15.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice.Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet this requirement by 10 May 2011. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
