This is a $79,260,556 Definitive Contract awarded by the U.S. Mission in Tanzania (USAID) to Jhpiego Corp, a non-profit global health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University. The contract supports the Comprehensive Client-Centered Health Program for Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (C3HP-RMNCAH) activity, which aims to increase demand for and use of quality integrated RMNCAH services in target regions of Tanzania, particularly for women, youth, and children.
The contract has no set-aside designation. As the prime contractor, Jhpiego Corp will work to improve access to quality RMNCAH services in both facilities and communities. The award includes multiple local Tanzanian non-profit subcontractors that will promote community engagement, strengthen capacity, and help ensure sustainability of maternal, newborn, child health, and family planning interventions at the community level. This effort aligns with USAID's broader global health programs focused on strengthening health systems and delivering transformative healthcare solutions in developing countries.
