The Department of Homeland Security United States Coast Guard awarded North Florida Shipyards, Inc. a $656,142 firm fixed price contract to provide scheduled dry-dock repair services for Coast Guard Cutter SEA DOG. The contract has a period of performance from February 19, 2020 to April 19, 2020 and will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida. The solicitation sought quotations for structural analysis, hull preservation and coating, system repairs and modifications, and other tasks as outlined in the solicitation to support continued operations of the 87-foot coastal patrol cutter. The opportunity was set aside for total small business and responses were requested by January 2, 2020. Funding is provided by the DHS Coast Guard to ensure the SEA DOG can continue fulfilling its maritime security missions.
