Description
Contractor shall begin testing with the department of veterans affairs (VA) to develop an XCA connection that will branch out to non-VA community providers and ask for VA patient information upon VA request. Upon successful testing completion, the VA patient information from local providers shall be available in the VA cprs system through the virtual lifetime electronic record system portal using the joint legacy viewer or vistaweb. The eastern colorado health care system will conduct data exchange through a VPN point to point query system thus allowing for continuity of care, accurate billing, and consult completions (operations). This testing is standardized across the VA health care system and will include non-VA querying for patient information.
