The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service awarded a $323,081.08 definitive contract to Federon Procurement Solutions for installation of pond liners at Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery on September 28, 2026, under a total small business set-away. Work comprises reshaping existing pond bottoms at Ponds 5 and 5.5, installing an underdrain trench with perforated 6-inch Schedule 40 PVC drain pipe, furnishing and installing geotextile fabric on side slopes, and furnishing and installing virgin polyethylene geomembrane pond liners (60 mils thick, 0.940-0.959 g/cu. cm. density) meeting ASTM tensile, puncture resistance, and environmental stress cracking requirements. The contractor must assign a qualified Field Installation Supervisor with minimum 5,000,000 square feet of flexible membrane liner installation experience and an experienced joiner with 2,000,000 square feet of seaming experience. Field seams require nondestructive testing per ASTM D 4437 or GRI Test Method GM6. A 2-year warranty covers repair or replacement of defective geomembranes from substantial completion.
