Description
Westprime task order 49 - HERA cloud storage customer is planning to build a cloud storage for human exploration research analog (HERA) project; the human health and performance (HHP) system will be used for data storage, archival and retrieval. The HHP IT provides data processing and storage services for all JSC programs related to HHP, specifically the crew health and safety (CHS) program and human research program (HRP). Customer has an immediate need to store 6 TB of data (mostly videos) beginning in january 2016 through july 2016. Customer will require an additional 15 TB of storage of collected data and videos (mostly video). The initial 6 TB of data can be placed directly into glacier. The subsequent 15 TB will need to be stored on S3 for a short period of time (approximately for 1 week or more). The storage timeframe on S3 is dependent on customer's access needs. The stored data on S3, after customer use will then be moved to glacier for storage. Customer wishes to have the storage environment functional by early january 2016 in order to support HERA campaign #3 that kicks off in late january 2016. The collected data is subject to PII, not subject to hipaa and the data is classified as moderate data and no high sensitive data.
