Policy analysis, safety analysis, technology transfer, future travel modes modeling: task title: NASA armd strategic architecture and analysis portfolio analysis support. This task supports NASA armd's strategic, architecture, and analysis' continued focus on evaluating strategic research and development (r & d) options for: aviation architectures, analyzing the emerging UAS operations in the NAS, as well as incorporating global analysis of aviation in addition to the national, US level. The task will include four deliverables ranging from model updates to simulations analysis and reports. The contract will integrate, as directed by the government, with the ipsa booze allen hamilton (BAH) contractors which will contribute, as appropriate to the various deliverables covering: costs, benefits, risks, and net present value analysis. Deliverable will provide up-leveled, lower fidelity models in order to begin addressing global dynamics instead of just national aviation operations. Surrogate models will be refined based on lessons learned from 2013 and updated, as appropriate, with new demand levels, global scope, and future world scenarios. Continue conducting UAS business cases for highly automated/ autonomous operations - conduct additional interviews and analysis of the fiscal year (FY) 13 ipsa UAS business cases focusing on highly automated and autonomous operations.
