Description
This is a contract for the continued support and consultation of the content management system that is being implemented between the national park service and the department of the interior for the NPS.GOV and DOI.GOV websites. BPA 2551093307 was issued by the ocio contracting team on january 12, 2009 under the 8A program for continued figleaf support of the content management system deployed which was commonspot CMS by paperthin. The NPS.GOV and DOI.GOV sites have doubled its traffic every year. The resultant increases in load and central responsibility have led NPS to seek experienced, qualified and when possible certified solutions providers for direct commonspot support. The NPS requires that the vendor itself has the experience, expertise and partnerships with paperthin due to the critical nature of NPS.GOV, and further requires that the vendor can train and mentor any new contract employees in house so that service to the NPS itself does not degrade with natural turn over as NPS.GOV is mission critical to the NPS. Figleaf is the only vendor certified by paperthin to provide the consulting and training required for NPS employees.
